Jason DuVall

Jason DuVall is a Shareholder in Vedder Price’s Dallas office and a member of the firm’s Finance & Transactions group. Mr. DuVall has extensive experience in corporate M&A matters, having represented numerous financial institutions, private equity funds, mezzanine funds, agent banks, borrowers and other institutional investors. Transactions he has worked on have involved senior and subordinated debt, asset-based lending, equipment and project financings, secured and unsecured lending, structured financings, health care financings and other forms of debt and equity financing.

Christopher Buch 

Christopher K. Buch is a Shareholder at Vedder Price and a member of the firm’s Labor & Employment practice area in Chicago. Hoyoon Nam

Hoyoon Nam is a Shareholder at Vedder Price and a member of the Global Transportation Finance (GTF) team in the firm's New York office. Mr. Nam frequently represents banks, investment funds, corporate borrowers and financial sponsors in connection with financing and restructuring transactions. He also works on direct lending and other private credit matters, representing private debt providers in connection with acquisition debt, special situations, rescue and bridge financings as well as working capital and liquidity-enhancing credit transactions.

Kate Buckley

Kate F. Buckley is a Shareholder at Vedder Price and a member of the Finance & Transactions group in the firm's New York office. Ms. Buckley represents equity funds, portfolio companies and public and private companies in the structuring, negotiation and documentation of mergers and acquisitions (buy-and sell-side), debt and balance sheet restructurings, joint ventures, roll-over transactions, divestitures, secured lending facilities and structured investments and formations.

Jeremy Alexander

Jeremy M. Alexander is a Shareholder in Vedder Price’s Washington, DC office and Chair of the Health Care & Life Sciences practice group. Mr. Alexander focuses his practice on managing intricate regulatory, transactional and enforcement issues for health care providers and suppliers. These include physician practices, outpatient rehabilitation therapy providers, home health care providers, behavioral health providers, hospitals, and medical device and pharmaceutical manufacturers. Rich Tilghman

Rich Tilghman is a Shareholder in Vedder Price’s Chicago office and a member of the firm's Litigation group. Mr. Tilghman focuses his practice on complex business litigation and arbitration matters, with an emphasis on the pharmaceutical, health care, and life sciences industries. Christy DePree

Christine De Pree is a Shareholder at Vedder Price and a member of the Investment Services group in the firm’s Chicago office. Todd F. Lurie, Washington, D.C. Office

Lurie Todd

Todd F. Lurie is a Shareholder at Vedder Price and a member of the Investment Services group in the firm’s Washington, DC office. He focuses his practice on cleared and non-cleared derivatives, and investment management advising, including fund formation and regulation. Before entering private practice, Mr. Lurie was Vice President and Associate General Counsel for MetLife, where he was responsible for strategic advisory for MetLife’s global derivatives platform, including documentation, transactional review and engagement with state, federal and global regulators. Over the course of his career, Mr. Lurie has also spent several years working for corporate financial institutions.

Gregg Bernhard

Gregg D. Bernhard is a Shareholder in Vedder Price’s Los Angeles office and a member of the firm’s Real Estate practice group. He represents owners, sellers, buyers, borrowers, tenants and landlords in various areas. Mr. Bernhard’s practice primarily focuses on U.S. and international real estate transactions, with an emphasis on acquisition, leasing, financing and development. Adam Schwartz

Adam L. Schwartz is a Shareholder at Vedder Price and a member of the Chambers USA-ranked Government Investigations & White Collar Defense team in the firm's Miami office. Mr. Schwartz represents companies and individuals in matters involving the the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), the Securtities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), the Department for Health and Human Services (“HHS”), and other criminal law enforcement and civil regulatory authorities.  Mr. Schwartz also counsels financial institutions and professionals on compliance with SEC regulations, FINRA rules, the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), and anti-money laundering laws.

Michael A. Wahlander, San Francisco Office

Mike Wahlander

Michael Wahlander’s practice is focused on all aspects of labor and employment litigation, including wage and hour, discrimination, retaliation, harassment and wrongful termination cases, and issues arising under the federal Fair Credit Reporting Act. As a litigator, he represents employers in single-plaintiff, multi-plaintiff, representative action, collective action and class action cases pending in federal and state courts, and state administrative agencies.

Alex Berger

Alexander Berger joined the firm in December 2022 as a member of the firm's Real Estate Practice in the New York office.  Alexander focuses his practice on representing land proprietors and developers in all aspects of transactional real estate, including the acquisition, disposition and financing (construction and acquisition mortgage conduit loans) of commercial properties regionally and nationwide. He also has extensive experience in structuring and facilitating like-kind exchanges under IRC #1031.

Anthony J. Renzi Jr., Washington DC Office

Anthony J. Renzi Jr.

Tony Renzi joined the firm in October 2022 as a member of the Securities & Capital Markets group in the Washington DC office.  Tony focuses his practice on international and U.S. corporate transactions, and advises a broad range of clients, particularly those in the energy, shipping and offshore services sectors. He represents clients in public and private debt and equity offerings, mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructurings and private equity investments. Mr. Renzi frequently represents European issuers and investment banks as they develop strategies for raising capital or making acquisitions in cross-border transactions, while also advising private equity firms in connection with portfolio company acquisitions and dispositions.

Gregory P. Ripple, Chicago Office

Greg Ripple

Greg Ripple joined the firm in July 2022 as a member of the Labor & Employment group in the Chicago office.  Most recently serving as Associate General Counsel for Labor Relations for Munson Healthcare, an eight hospital system in Michigan, Mr. Ripple brings to Vedder Price extensive experience negotiating high stakes collective bargaining agreements, advising executives in healthcare and other industries on labor strategy, including union avoidance, and representing employers at the NLRB and in arbitrations.

Cheryl A. Sabnis, San Francisco Office

Cheryl Sabnis

Cheryl Sabnis joined the firm in June 2022 as a member of the Labor & Employment group in the San Francisco office.  Ms. Sabnis represents clients in disputes pending before federal and state courts and arbitral forums across the United States. She defends companies facing putative class, collective and representative actions as well as those involved in complex multi-party or single-plaintiff disputes. Beyond serving her clients’ litigation needs, Ms. Sabnis helps her clients manage employee-related crises and is regularly engaged to investigate allegations of workplace misconduct or misfortune. She regularly counsels and provides training regarding a broad range of employment-related matters. Julie Langdon joined the firm in February 2022 as a member of the Intellectual Property group in the Chicago office.  Ms. Langdon has broad experience in litigation, licensing and counseling involving all aspects of intellectual property in a broad range of industries and sectors. Her primary practice is patent litigation, which has involved patents in various technologies including biotechnology, chemical compositions and processes, software and computer-based systems, consumer products, consumer electronic products, oilfield fluid technologies, wearable technologies and pharmaceuticals, including Hatch-Waxman issues.

Jeff Ansley joined the firm in January 2022 as a member of the Government Investigations & White Collar Defense group in the Dallas office.  Mr. Ansley focuses his practice on white collar defense, representing professionals and corporate clients in high stakes investigations and cases before federal prosecutors and in court when the time comes.
