Vedder Price’s Chicago office seeks a mid-level associate with 4-6 years of M&A and general corporate experience for its Finance & Transactions Group.  Candidates should have experience with structuring, drafting and negotiating merger and acquisition agreements, commercial contracts and other corporate agreements and documentation.  Experience with private equity is preferred but not required.  Candidates must have strong academic backgrounds, excellent oral and written communication skills, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team or independently in a fast-paced and intellectually challenging environment.  Candidates with a business, accounting or MBA background are preferred.  In addition, candidates must be admitted to the Illinois Bar or admitted to the Bar of another state and applying for admission to the Illinois Bar.
