Vedder Price seeks a midlevel associate with 3-6 years of executive compensation experience to join its nationally-recognized Executive Compensation and Employee Benefits Group. Candidates should have strong oral and written communication skills, the ability to work effectively as part of a team or independently in a fast-paced environment, well developed legal research skills and experience drafting contracts, award agreements and non-qualified compensation plans. This position will be involved in both transactional deal work and day-to-day advising on all aspects of executive compensation. Candidates may apply for either the Chicago office or the Washington, DC office. Candidates must be admitted in the location for which they are applying (Illinois or District of Columbia) or taking steps to become admitted in that jurisdiction.

Vedder Price’s Los Angeles office is seeking a junior associate (2-3 years’ experience) for its Global Transportation Finance Group. Candidates should have relevant experience in finance, commercial lending, project finance, structured finance, equipment finance, secured finance or similar experience representing underwriters, financiers, equity participants, lessors, manufacturers and customers.  Experience in transportation finance (aviation, aerospace, railroad or marine industries) is preferred, but not required.  California Bar admission is preferred.
