Vedder Price Advises Exigent Group Limited in Multi-jurisdictional Sale to Morae Global

Vedder Price is pleased to announce that its Finance and Transactions Group has advised Exigent Group Limited in its multi-jurisdictional sale to U.S.-based Morae Global, for an undisclosed sum.

Founded in 2003, Exigent is a UK-based global alternative legal services provider operating at the intersection of law, business and technology. With a worldwide team of over 400 lawyers, business analysts, developers and consultants, Exigent is transforming the way legal services are offered through analytical thinking and inventive use of technology. Working closely with law firms and corporations in major markets, Exigent provide a range of legal services, including litigation support, contract management, due diligence, company secretarial services, business analytics and virtual support services.

Headquartered in Texas, Morae Global provides end-to-end legal and compliance solutions to general counsel and chief compliance officers around the world. Founded in 2015, it is composed of a seasoned team of professionals who improve business performance by developing strategy, creating processes, deploying people, leveraging technology and analysing data in order to deliver results. Morae Global, through its acquisition of Exigent, is looking to expand its core service offerings outside of its already strong line-up of management consulting, eLEXir on-demand legal resources, and information and discovery management for the legal industry.
