Vedder Price, a leading global law firm, is pleased to announce that six attorneys have been named as Shareholders, effective April 7, 2014.

Marie H. Godush, a member of the firm's Finance & Transactions group in the Chicago office, focuses her practice on the representation of banks and other financial institutions, lenders in bankruptcy-related workout matters and borrowers in the area of finance. She is experienced in handling a variety of commercial loan transactions, such as acquisition financing, leveraged buyouts, senior and mezzanine financing, second lien financing and health care financing. Ms. Godush received her J.D., magna cum laude and Order of the Coif, from Wayne State University Law School, and she holds a B.A. in both English and economics from the University of Michigan (with distinction).
 

Robert J. Hankes is a member of the firm's Global Transportation Finance team in the Chicago office. Mr. Hankes focuses his practice on commercial aviation and railcar finance, regularly handling a variety of domestic and international leasing and finance transactions, including operating leases, leveraged leases, mortgage financings, structured financings and purchase-and- sale transactions. He is a certified public accountant and served as an auditor for a Big Five accounting firm prior to his legal career at Vedder Price. In 2012, he was named a Rising Star by Airfinance Journal and Super Lawyers. Mr. Hankes received his J.D., with honors, from IIT Chicago-Kent College of Law and his B.A. from Illinois Wesleyan University.
 

Ji Woon Kim, a Global Transportation Finance attorney located in Vedder Price's New York office, focuses his practice on advising lenders, export-credit agencies, aircraft operators and a variety of others in various equipment finance matters within the transportation industry. Mr. Kim's experience includes cross-border leveraged leases, mortgage financings, warehouses, revolving credit facilities, export credit agency-supported financings and operating lease financings involving commercial aircraft, rolling stock and vessels. A member of the Maritime Law Association of the United States, Mr. Kim received his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Illinois College of Law and earned his bachelor of arts from the University of Chicago.
 

Joseph K. Mulherin, a member of the firm's Labor & Employment practice area in the Chicago office, focuses his practice on counseling and representing private- and public-sector employers nationwide in a variety of employment law issues, including discrimination lawsuits and EEOC investigations. He has extensive experience with wage and hour matters, having successfully litigated numerous single-plaintiff cases, large class actions, and Department of Labor audits and investigations. In addition, Mr. Mulherin is well versed in the areas of class action strategy and procedure, independent-contractor classification, mandatory arbitration agreements and wage payment laws. Mr. Mulherin received his J.D., cum laude, from Pepperdine University School of Law and graduated with a bachelor of science degree from Marquette University.
 

Charles W. Murphy, a member of Vedder Price's Finance & Transactions and Real Estate practice groups in the Chicago office, represents both institutional and commercial clients in a variety of matters. Mr. Murphy has extensive experience in real estate finance, representing lenders, borrowers and investors in permanent, construction and mezzanine loan transactions involving health care, auto, commercial, office, multifamily, retail and industrial properties. He also focuses much of his practice on the acquisition, disposition, development and leasing of real property as well as other related corporate matters. He is a certified public accountant and a member of the Real Estate Investment Association. Mr. Murphy received his J.D. from the DePaul University College of Law and his B.S. from Northern Illinois University.
 

Jeanah Park is a member of the firm's Litigation practice area, as well as the Financial Services and Antitrust and Competition practice groups, in the Chicago office. She counsels and represents clients in a wide variety of business disputes, including commercial contract, employment, securities, intellectual property and business tort disputes. Ms. Park has successfully argued several motions and appeals at the trial and appellate levels nationwide. She has extensive experience in state and federal motion and discovery practice and has obtained sanctions on behalf of clients based on discovery violations, including spoliation of evidence. In addition, Ms. Park currently serves as President of the Asian American Bar Association of Greater Chicago, having previously been a chair of several of its committees. Ms. Park received her J.D., cum laude, from the University of Illinois College of Law and her B.A. from Northwestern University.
