Vedder Price is pleased to announce that Candice T. Zee has joined the firm as a Shareholder in its Labor & Employment group in the Los Angeles office.

Ms. Zee focuses her practice on traditional labor issues, including unfair labor practice charges, interpretation of collective bargaining agreements, grievances, arbitrations and National Labor Relations Board proceedings. She has handled several union grievances, arbitrations and representation cases at all stages and has extensive experience managing and overseeing union election campaigns.

Ms. Zee has represented and defended multi-state and international corporations on all aspects of employment litigation, including allegations of discrimination, retaliation, harassment, wage and hour issues, reductions-in-force, reasonable accommodation and independent contractor issues as well as workplace torts, including defamation, emotional distress and interference with contractual relations. She has also litigated single plaintiff and class action employment lawsuits in a first chair capacity.

Prior to joining Vedder Price, Ms. Zee was a Partner in Seyfarth Shaw’s Labor and Employment Department. She earned her J.D. from Loyola Law School and her B.A. cum laude from the University of California, Los Angeles.
