Simone M. Riley is a Shareholder at Vedder Price and a member of the firm’s Global Transportation Finance team.

Ms. Riley focuses her practice on transactions involving commercial and business aircraft, aviation regulatory compliance, asset securitizations and general equipment finance. She counsels clients from the aviation, maritime and rail industries as well as lessees and operating lessors, borrowers and commercial lenders, private and public companies, finance companies, private equity firms, manufacturers, underwriters and governmental agencies engaged in financing transactions utilizing transportation assets.

In 2024, Ms. Riley was recognized by Thompson Reuters Super Lawyers as a Rising Star in the Aviation and Aerospace category. 

While in law school, Ms. Riley was Editor-in-Chief of the Southern California Review of Law and Social Justice and a Judicial Extern for the Honorable A. Wallace Tashima, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
