James Kilner

James Kilner is a Shareholder at Vedder Price and a member of the firm’s Global Transportation Finance team in the Chicago office.
Mr. Kilner has experience in a broad range of banking and finance transactions, focusing in particular on cross-border asset financing, secured lending structures and general and structured financings. He also has experience in aviation sale and lease-backs and operating leases.
In 2023, Mr. Kilner was inducted in Airline Economics “40 under 40” list, which recognizes the most talented individuals in the commercial aviation industry. From 2021-2023, Mr. Kilner was recognized by The Legal 500 United States in the category of Transport: Aviation & Air Travel – Finance.
