Vedder Price Named Law Firm of the Year at Airline Economics Aviation 100 Awards
Vedder Price is pleased to announce that the firm has been named as the top aviation law firm for the Americas region by Airline Economics. This distinction is based upon a vote of thousands of industry participants and is awarded based on the number and value of deals worked on by the firm, its roster of aviation clients and the overall strength of its Global Transportation Finance team.
The award recognizes Vedder’s involvement in many of the top deals closed in 2018 including:
- Representing Virgo Investment Group in the launch of the Zephyrus Aviation Capital platform
- Advising ITE Management as the anchor equity investor in ALC’s Thunderbolt II asset backed securitization
- Representing Macquarie Group on a purchase agreement of $650 million for the aquisition of helicopter lessor, Waypoint Leasing
- Representing BBAM on their acquisition of the AirAsia leasing fleet from subsidiary, Asia Aviation Capital
