Vedder Price is pleased to announce that veteran litigator Cheryl Sabnis has joined the firm’s San Francisco office as a Shareholder within the firm’s Labor and Employment practice area.

Sabnis spent the last nine years as a Partner at King & Spalding, and has long represented businesses and other organizations who trust her with sophisticated, high-stakes employment litigation, including complex wage and hour class actions, Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA) claims and matters involving sensitive topics, such as gender, race and disability discrimination, harassment and retaliatory discharge.

“We are thrilled that Cheryl will be joining us in San Francisco,” said Vedder Price Shareholder and Chair of the Labor and Employment practice area, Elizabeth N. Hall.  “Cheryl will be an extremely valuable asset to our team, and will help us in our strategic efforts to further expand our growing California bench.”

Sabnis also brings a wealth of experience advising employers, and investigating claims of employee and officer misconduct.  Benchmark recognizes her as a Labor & Employment Star, the Daily Journal recognizes her as a Top Labor and Employment Lawyer, and Law Dragon has named her a Leading U.S. Corporate Employment Lawyer.

“I am delighted to be joining Vedder Price and its stellar team of Labor and Employment professionals,” said Sabnis.  “I look forward to working with my new colleagues in California and across the firm.”

Sabnis is licensed to practice in California and Minnesota and received both her law degree and undergraduate degree from the University of Minnesota.
