Ms. Li provides legal and regulatory compliance guidance to human resource executives, in-house counsel, and C-suite business leaders regarding corporate immigration issues. She facilitates the acquisition of work visas and employment-based immigrant visas for foreign professionals including, H-1B, L-1, and O-1 temporary visas and PERM, EB-1, EB-2, and EB-3 permanent visas.

Previously, Ms. Li served as a staff attorney at the National Immigrant Justice Center, where she provided legal representation and immigration service counseling to unaccompanied immigrant children.  She also drafted motions to terminate asylum briefs, represented clients in asylum interviews and removal proceedings, and prepared asylum and Special Immigrant Juvenile Status filings.

Ms. Li received her law degree from the University of Illinois College of Law.  She worked as an Administrative Editor for the Journal of Law, Technology & Policy in law school.  In addition, Ms. Li worked as a Teaching Assistant, where she provided counseling and fact investigation services, and also served as the Vice President of the Immigration Law Society.
