Mr. Kritt focuses his practice on a broad range of investment services matters including representing U.S. registered investment companies and funds, their boards of directors and investment advisers in regulatory compliance and governance matters under U.S. securities laws. 

He also has experience in new business formation such as advising clients regarding entity structure, governance, tax-efficiency and accomplishing entity formation, tax and other required state and federal regulatory filings.

Additionally, Mr. Kritt has advised nonprofit organizations and social enterprises regarding federal and state tax laws, earned revenue strategies, conflict of interest, governance issues and charitable solicitations and registrations.

Mr. Kritt received his law degree from Loyola University Chicago School of Law, where he obtained certificates in tax law and transactional law, and his undergraduate degree in journalism, with a business minor, from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

In 2025, Mr. Kritt was named a Rising Star by Illinois Super Lawyers.
