Gregory G. Wrobel

Gregory G. Wrobel serves as the firm’s Antitrust group leader and maintains a broad litigation and counseling practice covering a range of substantive areas in both federal and state courts.

He has participated in litigation and trial work for a number of major corporate clients on complex antitrust, unfair competition, health care, civil rights, restrictive covenant and trade secret matters, and a wide range of other commercial disputes, including class action, bankruptcy and real estate litigation matters.

Mr. Wrobel is an Editor, and was formerly Associate Editor, Editorial Board Chair and Articles Editor, for the ABA's Antitrust magazine. Additionally, he was Current Developments Editor during 1996-99 for the Antitrust Healthcare Chronicle, a quarterly publication of the Health Care Committee of the ABA's Antitrust Law Section. He was the contributing author for the health care chapter of the Antitrust Section's 1995 Annual Review of Antitrust Law Developments, a member of the Editorial Board for the 1997 Annual Review, and Co-Editor in Chief for the 2002 Annual Review. He was a member of the Antitrust Section's Books and Treatises Committee during 2000-02. Mr. Wrobel has been a speaker and moderator for antitrust and health law programs of the Chicago Bar Association and for programs of the Chicago Bar Association, Illinois Association of Healthcare Attorneys, National Community Mental Healthcare Council, National Business Institute, Federal Bar Association, American Society of Association Executives and the Antitrust Law Section of the American Bar Association.

 Mr. Wrobel has been selected for inclusion since 2006 in Illinois Super Lawyers. In addition, he received an “AV Preeminent” Peer Rating in Martindale-Hubbell. Mr. Wrobel has been selected by his peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America in the field of Health Care Law since 2013. He has also been selected by his peers as a Leading Lawyer in Antitrust Law and Commercial Litigation.

Mr. Wrobel is a member of the American, Chicago and Seventh Circuit Bar Associations, the American Health Lawyers Association (member, Antitrust Law and Managed Care Committees), the Illinois Association of Healthcare Attorneys and the Advocates Society. He is active on the Antitrust and Health Law Committees of the Chicago Bar Association. He was chairperson of the Antitrust Law Committee during 1993–94 and of the Health Law Committee during 2001–02. He is a member of the American Bar Association Sections of Antitrust Law, Health Law and Litigation.
