Gabrielle Buckley to Present at the FBA Worksite Enforcement and Immigration Conference
Shareholder Gabrielle M. Buckley will lead the discussion on “Avoiding Discrimination in Hiring, Outsourcing and Auditing” at the Federal Bar Association’s Worksite Enforcement and Immigration Conference on April 20, 2016. Ms. Buckley will discuss the definition of “intent,” permissible questions during the hiring process and potential discrimination issues in the outsourcing process, among other topics.
The 10th Annual FBA Worksite Enforcement and Immigration Conference will feature nationally recognized speakers from the private bar, human resources and corporate law department representatives, government officials in charge of enforcement and immigration policy experts. In an exciting election year, the program will be more relevant than ever. The conference will review the ongoing administrative immigration enforcement, with analysis of some of the unintended consequences of government investigations. As more and more employers, both large and small, are learning the implications of an ICE, DOL or OSC investigation, this program is a must for immigration and employment lawyers offering counsel on these important issues.
