Edward K. Gross, a Shareholder in Vedder Price's Washington, DC office and a member of the firm's Global Transportation Finance team, will serve as a presenter, panelist and moderator for three different sessions at Corporate Jet Investor's Corporate Jet & Helicopter Investor Miami 2015 conference, taking place October 21–23. Mr. Gross will serve as a moderator for "Will Banks Still be Financing Jets in 2020," in which the evolution of tougher banking regulations, higher risk weights and leverage ratios, amongst other pressing issues, will be discussed. The panel "Financing Helicopter Operators" will assess the biggest risks in regard to asset and credit as well as discussing the difference between financing operators and lessors. Finally, "Fixed Wing Versus Rotary: Key Considerations For The (Apart From the Obvious Ones)" Mr. Gross will discuss the size of the market, outfitting and completion, Cape Town and helicopter engines, and intermingling and fleet operating issues.
