Shareholders Denise L. Blau, Edward K. Gross and Marc L. Klyman will present at the Equipment Leasing and Finance Association’s Legal Forum in Washington, DC on May 6–8, 2018. The annual Legal Forum will include general and specific sessions and roundtable discussions on a variety of equipment financing topics.

Ms. Blau will participate on the panel, “The Fruits and Pit(falls) of Tax Reform,” which will examine the effects on the equipment leasing and finance industry of the recently passed tax reform legislation. Mr. Gross will moderate the discussions pertinent to aircraft financing at the “Air, Rail, Marine” roundtable. Topics of discussion will include typical financing structures used in each sector, issues relating to proper perfection of a lender’s security interest in such assets and regulatory concerns arising in such sectors. Mr. Klyman will participate on the “Securitization” panel, which will offer a practical, high-level overview of equipment securitizations from the perspective of both in-house counsel and outside counsel.
