Mr. Kane focuses his practice in financial restructuring, distressed asset transactions, enforcement and workout, and bankruptcy law, including related litigation.  He brings over 20 years of experience in every facet of complex bankruptcy and insolvency proceedings, including cash collateral and debtor-in-possession financing, Section 363 sale transactions, real estate and equipment leasing disputes, and claims administration, as well as preference, fraudulent transfer and the prosecution and defense of bankruptcy adversary litigation. Mr. Kane’s clients include a cross-section of secured and unsecured creditors, financial institutions and non-bank lenders, trade creditors, asset purchasers, Chapter 7 trustees, assignees and equity security holders, whom he represents in a variety of bankruptcy and out-of-court insolvency matters. Mr. Kane brings a unique consultative approach to every matter.

Mr. Kane regularly represents buyers and sellers of assets in sales arising under Bankruptcy Code Section 363 and Article 9 of the Uniform Commercial Code, as well as in assignments for the benefit of creditors. His recent representations in the distressed marketplace cover a broad range of industries, including manufacturing, hospitality, food & beverage, retail, automotive and aerospace.
