Vedder Price was recently recognized by Turnaround Atlas Awards with the 2012 "Turnaround of the Year" award in the "Small Mid Markets" category for its role in the chapter 11 reorganization and sale of Chicago-based Giordano's Enterprises, Inc. The firm advised VPC Pizza Holdings, LLC, an affiliate of Victory Park Capital, in its successful $52 million bid to purchase the operating assets of Giordano's from the chapter 11 bankruptcy trustee appointed in the related cases.

Leading the Vedder Price team was Michael M. Eidelman, Shareholder and Co-Chair of the firm's Corporate Reorganization practice group. He was assisted by Vedder Price Shareholders Joseph H. Winners of the Turnaround Atlas Awards were announced at the Annual Awards Gala and Dinner, held on June 26 in Chicago. The Turnaround Atlas Awards are part of the prestigious M&A Atlas Awards that honor the best turnaround deals and assignments, star professionals and top-performing firms from the restructurings and turnaround communities worldwide.
