Kimrey, Shareholder, Chair of the firm’s Media & Entertainment Litigation group and member of the Privacy, CyberSecurity & Media group, will present at the Associations @ Work Business Conference, taking place October 29-30 in Washington, DC. With over 42,000 individual members across 7,400 organizations, The American Society of Association Executives’ premiere business conference, Associations @ Work, offers broad insight into interrelated business functions to heighten collaboration and learning exchanges aimed to solve cross functional operational challenges. The conference will provide attendees with a variety of sessions from top-tier industry leaders with topics ranging from cyber challenges to foundational leadership skills.
Mr. Kimrey’s session, “Cyber Creeps and Criminals: Responding to Cyber Crime” with co-content leaders Michelle Evans, Eric Johnson, Matthew Reiss and Scott Swift, offers insight to help identify cyber threats and provide practical risk transfer strategies, vendor contract indemnification provisions and insurance, and a breach incident response plan. Additionally, this session will touch on cyber trends such as social engineering, ransomware, cryptocurrency and brute force attacks.
