Vedder Price is pleased to announce the addition of three attorneys to the firm's Washington, DC office. Marques O. Peterson joins the Government Contracts group as Of Counsel, Caroline A. Keller joins the Government Contracts group as Associate, and Malaika M. Lindo joins the Global Transportation Finance team as Associate.

Mr. Peterson, formerly of  McKenna Long & Aldridge, focuses his practice on government contracts, claims and investigations, as well as litigation with an emphasis on international law. He represents large and small businesses in all aspects of federal procurement law, including contract formation issues, post-award contract disputes and claims, ethics and compliance, expeditionary issues and export control regulations. He also has particular experience in the international arbitration arena. Prior to joining private practice, Mr. Peterson spent four years on active duty in the U.S. Air Force, working at the Pentagon in the Office of the Air Force General Counsel. He received his J.D. from George Washington University Law School and his undergraduate degree from the University of Kansas. 

Ms. Keller's practice includes assisting with bid protests before the GAO and the U.S. Court of Federal Claims, counseling contractors on a range of federal statutes and regulations, defending contractors against False Claims Act actions, and conducting investigations in white-collar criminal defense matters involving allegations of misconduct related to government procurement. Ms. Keller joins Vedder Price from Seyfarth Shaw. She earned her J.D. from George Washington University Law School and her undergraduate degree from Georgetown University. 

Ms. Lindo has experience representing lead banks, agents and borrowers in a broad array of complex domestic and cross-border financing transactions. Her experience includes secured and unsecured syndicated, multiborrower and multicurrency revolving credit loans, term loans, first lien/second lien financings, acquisition and bridge financings, refinancing facilities and letter-of-credit facilities.  Ms. Lindo joins Vedder Price from Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy.  She received her J.D., cum laude, from the Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center at Touro College, her master’s degree in political science from Long Island University and her undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia.
