Vedder Price’s Global Transportation Finance team played a key role advising the equity investors in Airline Economics 2018 “Overall Deal of the Year.” The Aviation 100 Awards acknowledge individuals and companies behind the year’s largest, most complex and significant aviation finance transactions.

The winning deal that Vedder Price advised on involved a $344.7 million aircraft asset backed securitization sponsored by Air Lease Corporation, including a fixed rate notes offering and the issuance of series E notes representing the equity interests in Thunderbolt Aircraft Lease Limited and Thunderbolt Aircraft Lease U.S. Global Transportation Finance Shareholders Jeffrey Veber, Geoff Kass and Michael Draz led the team from Vedder Price.
