Vedder Price is pleased to announce that the firm received the 2020 "Advocate for Inclusion" award in recognition of its pro bono legal services for Aspire, a Chicago based nonprofit with a vision of creating a community where people of all abilities live, learn, and grow together. The award, presented to Vedder Price at Aspire’s annual Big City Night Gala on February 8, recognizes companies and individuals who have worked to help Aspire fulfill its mission and who go above and beyond in their support for Aspire’s vision through their leadership, example and generosity.

Shareholder and Aspire Board Member Adam R. Beringer was in attendance to graciously receive the award on behalf of the firm. “We are humbled and honored to be recognized by Aspire for the pro bono legal services provided over the course of the past year by our team of corporate, intellectual property, tax, and real estate lawyers,” said Mr. Beringer. “While the biggest reward for our efforts is seeing the success of Aspire and the incredible individuals they assist, we do appreciate this additional recognition of our work and look forward to continuing this great partnership.”

Vedder Price Pro Bono Committee Co-Chair Michelle T. Olson added, “Our firm remains committed to providing pro bono services to those in need because it is a part of our culture and it is the right thing to do. We are proud to have played a role in fulfilling Aspire’s mission of supporting the successes of children and adults with developmental disabilities.”
