Vedder Price Expands Health Care & Health Care Finance Group; Names New Co-Chair
Vedder Price is pleased to announce that Shareholders Kathryn L. Stevens and Ethan E. Rii have been named Co-Chairs of the recently expanded Health Care & Professional Associations practice group.
For more than 50 years, Vedder Price has counseled and advocated on behalf of a broad spectrum of health care organizations and organizations that provide services to the health care industry, including financial institutions with dedicated health care lending units. We are pleased to now recognize and develop upon the professional associations for which we offer these services to with this expanded group.
Ms. Stevens concentrates her practice in commercial finance, representing major lenders in loan transactions exclusively in the health care industry. She also advises health care clients on a wide range of corporate tax and regulatory issues. Ms. Stevens mentioned her excitement over expanding the group’s capabilities to a broader audience.
Mr. Rii focuses his practice on health care transactions and regulatory matters surrounding mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructurings and joint ventures for hospitals, health systems specialty and ancillary care providers, and private equity firms and financial institutions investing in the health care space. Clients seek his counsel in addressing health care compliance issues as well.
