Tom Zimmer Chairs California Aviation Professionals Carol Chase Speaker Series
GTF shareholder Tom Zimmer chaired a well-attended California Aviation Professionals Carol Chase Speaker Series Program on April 29 at Le Meridien San Francisco.
The first of two speakers, Dean Gerber, GTF team chair, discussed de-registration and export remedies under the Cape Town Convention. One attendee quipped that “he made a tough (and boring) topic interesting.” The second speaker, Brian Benzing, Aircraft and Lease Manager at Virgin America, provided his observations on the recent acquisition of Virgin America by Alaska Airlines. His perspective, from inside the transaction, made for a very engaging presentation.
