Vedder Thinking | Events Thomas J. Kowalski to Moderate Biotech Patenting Session at BIO International 2012

Thomas J. Kowalski, a Shareholder in the New York office of Vedder Price and a member of the firm’s Intellectual Property group, will serve as moderator for "Patenting Under the America Invents Act in Comparison with European Patent Practice" during the 2012 BIO International Convention, June 18-21 in Boston. The session will offer an international perspective on the America Invents Act and how it compares to practice in Europe. Joining Mr. Kowalski as panelists are representatives from the European Patent Office and the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office to discuss First to File, Prior Art and Opposition Proceedings in the two systems.
