Prior to joining Vedder Price, Ms. King researched and drafted a proposal to amend New York’s no-fault insurance law and researched on various New York State insurance laws and regulations. In addition, she performed fact-based analysis on pending insurance matters and analyzed DFS consent orders in preparation for settlement agreements between DFS and New York State insurers. She also evaluated cases brought according to other state laws anticipating judicial interpretation of similar New York State regulations.

Finally, Ms. King researched insider trading enforcement actions and drafted a motion for an order to approve a distribution plan as the result of SEC action.  She also researched and drafted a report for a potential fraud investigation by the SEC.

Ms. King received her law degree from St. John’s University School of Law and her undergraduate degree cum laude from Baylor University. While in law school, Ms. King was an associate articles editor for the Journal of Civil Rights and Economic Development.
