Rich Tilghman is a Shareholder in Vedder Price’s Chicago office and a member of the firm's Litigation group.
Mr. Tilghman focuses his practice on complex business litigation and arbitration matters, with an emphasis on the pharmaceutical, health care, and life sciences industries. Mr. Tilghman regularly represents clients in the defense of privacy claims and class actions. He also frequently represents businesses in matters involving trade secrets, confidential information, and restrictive covenants.
Mr. Tilghman has served as first-chair trial counsel in numerous high-stakes commercial disputes, including matters pending in state and federal courts across the United States, as well as in various arbitral forums.
Mr. Tilghman received his law degree from DePaul University College of Law, summa cum laude, and his undergraduate degree from Boston College, cum laude.
