Vedder Thinking | Events Nicole Highland to Lead Drones Presentation at AACE Seminar
November 12, 2015
Nicole J. Highland, an Associate in Vedder Price's Chicago office and member of the firm's Litigation practice area, will be the featured speaker at AACE International's Chicago Midwest Section Seminar on November 12.
Drones have become incredibly prevalent in today's world. This newfound popularity has prompted the Federal Aviation Administration to create rules and regulations to expand drone use for recreational and commercial purposes. Ms. Highland’s presentation, "Drones in Project Controls," will focus on how the widespread use of drones for commercial purposes can benefit construction projects. Highlighting a drone's ability to provide around-the-clock project site surveillance, monitor crew members' productivity, and easily track and quantify a site’s groundwork progress, Ms. Highland will discuss the many ways drones are useful beyond simply taking photographs.
