Neal I. Korval, Shareholder in the Labor & Employment practice area and Executive Compensation and Employee Benefits group, recently authored “Collective Bargaining Challenges Facing the Retail Sector” in the Autumn issue of Employee Relations Law Journal. Mr. Korval examines some of the protections and language changes that unionized retail employers will want to secure in their labor contracts in order to meet the new and upcoming challenges posed by the technology revolution.

Mr. Korval outlines job security provisions of a Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA), the unambiguous management rights language that should be used in a CBA, minimum wage laws to comply with, pension plans and more challenging issues facing retailers.
