The Deal recently released the results of its quarterly rankings of the top firms and professionals involved in active bankruptcy cases for the first quarter of 2014. Two Vedder Price attorneys were among the top 20 lawyers listed. Michael L. Schein, Shareholder and member of the firm’s Bankruptcy and Creditors' Rights group, was ranked number one. Douglas J. Lipke, Shareholder and Co-Chair of the Bankruptcy and Creditors' Rights group, was ranked 14th. Vedder Price was ranked fourth overall.
The Deal's Bankruptcy League Tables are the industry's only league tables focused solely on active U.S. bankruptcy cases. The rankings involve cases of debtors with assets of $10 million or more, with the rankings based on the aggregation of those asset values.
