Michael C. Troiano is an Associate in Vedder Price’s New York office, and a member of the firm’s Litigation group.
Mr. Troiano focuses his practice in all areas of bankruptcy, creditors’ rights and commercial litigation matters. He previously served as law clerk to the Honorable Carla E. Craig, United States Chief Bankruptcy Judge, the Honorable Nancy H. Lord, United States Bankruptcy Judge, and the Honorable Elizabeth S. Stong, United States Bankruptcy Judge. He has experience representing corporate debtors, lenders and unsecured creditors in Chapter 11 cases and adversary proceedings. Mr. Troiano also has represented financial institutions in state court, litigating actions against delinquent borrowers through judgment and judgment enforcement. Mr. Troiano has previously served as a Kings County Assistant District Attorney, where he conducted pre-trial hearings and trials, engaged in motion practice, and indicted approximately 60 felony cases.
Mr. Troiano received his law degree from Brooklyn Law School, where he graduated cum laude. While in law school, he was a member of the Prince Memorial Evidence Competition writing team.
