Max W. Fargotstein is an Associate in the Chicago office of Vedder Price and a member of the firm’s Global Transportation Finance team.

Mr. Fargotstein concentrates his practice on secured lending and asset-based financing transactions, particularly transactions involving aircraft, railcar, vessel or capital equipment. He counsels clients from the aviation, maritime and rail industries, as well as lessees and operating lessors, borrowers and commercial lenders, private and public companies, finance companies, private equity firms, manufacturers, underwriters and governmental agencies engaged in financing transactions utilizing transportation assets.

While attending Tulane University Law School, Mr. Fargotstein earned a certificate of specialization in Admiralty & Maritime Law, received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Marine Pollution and served as Managing Editor of the Tulane Maritime Law Journal. He was also the recipient of the A. Lester Sarpy Scholarship. Mr. Fargotstein earned his Bachelor of Science in Management degree from Tulane’s Freeman School of Business in 2014.
