Maura L. Riley is an Associate in Vedder Price’s Los Angeles office and a member of the firm’s Government Investigations & White Collar Defense group.

Ms. Riley focuses her practice on representing companies and individuals in connection with investigations by state and federal regulators, as well as in related litigation. She has successfully represented clients in investigations by agencies such as the U.S. Department of Justice, California Attorney General’s Office, California Department of Justice, and Securities and Exchange Commission. When litigation is necessary, Ms. Riley has a proven track record of managing cases in all stages of litigation in state and federal courts, from discovery to trial. She has experience helping clients to resolve matters relating to alleged FCPA violations, arms trafficking, civil forfeiture, hazardous waste violations, taxpayer lawsuits and consumer protection investigations, among others.

Ms. Riley received her law degree from the University of Texas School of Law and received her undergraduate degree from Dartmouth College. During law school, she was an Articles Editor of the Texas Law Review. She also served as a Judicial Intern for the Honorable Patricia O. Alvarez, Texas Fourth Court of Appeals and the Honorable Martin J. Hoffman, 68th Civil District Court.
