Ms. Harrell focuses her practice on advising investment companies, boards of directors and investment advisers on legal, regulatory, operational and fund governance obligations under federal securities laws and regulations. In addition, she has experience drafting underwriting agreements, dealer manager agreements and legal opinions in connection with closed-end fund IPOs, rights offerings and preferred shares offerings.

Ms. Harrell received her law degree from Georgetown University Law Center and her undergraduate degree summa cum laude from Spelman College.
