April 22, 2015
Margo Wolf O'Donnell, a Shareholder at Vedder Price and a member of the firm's Litigation and Labor & Employment practice areas, will lead the presentation, "Best Practices for Private Clubs: Handling Employee Disability Claims and Preparing for a Wage and Hour Audit," at the Club Accountants Association of America’s April 22 meeting in Chicago.
During the program, Ms. O'Donnell will provide guidelines on how to handle difficult employee issues, specifically, what to do if an employee requests an accommodation for an illness, or other disability, and how to handle any potential claims that may arise. She will also discuss recent trends on how employers can most effectively prepare for a wage and hour audit.
