Madeline V. Tzall is an Associate in the Chicago office of Vedder Price and a member of the firm’s Litigation practice area.

Ms. Tzall focuses her practice on complex commercial litigation. She represents a wide array of corporate and individual clients in a range of matters across different industries, including actions for breach of contract, business torts, products liability, product recalls, restrictive covenant violations and other commercial matters in both U.S. state and federal courts.

Ms. Tzall also has experience defending companies of all sizes against consumer litigation matters, including claims under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, and the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.

Additionally, Ms. Tzall is a member of the firm’s Privacy, CyberSecurity & Media practice group. In that regard, Ms. Tzall provides full-spectrum advice to clients on privacy, technology and data security matters, including international compliance, security breach preparation and response. Ms. Tzall’s practice also includes privacy class action defense and media defense litigation.

Informed by her practical experience, Ms. Tzall regularly counsels her clients and their teams across multiple locations on a variety of compliance issues. She periodically speaks on topics including remote depositions, data privacy and information management.

Ms. Tzall has also handled a variety of pro bono engagements, including work for nonprofit entities, student journalists, and Section 1983 civil rights litigation. Prior to joining Vedder Price, Ms. Tzall served as toxic tort National Coordinating Counsel for a leading product manufacturer, effectively managing and coordinating litigation strategy with discovery, dispositive motion practice and trial workup for high indemnity jurisdictions.
