Lauren Wertheimer Named to Board of Directors of the Los Angeles County Bar Association (LACBA) Counsel for Justice
Vedder Price is pleased to share that Labor & Employment Associate Lauren Wertheimer has been named to the Board of Directors for the Los Angeles County Bar Association’s (LACBA) Counsel for Justice (CFJ). Lauren’s appointment to the board is a direct reflection of her leadership capabilities, along with her commitment to equity for both employees and employers in various legal scenarios.
Since joining the firm in 2021, Lauren’s practice has defended multi-state employers in a wide range of employment litigation, including discrimination, wage and hour disputes and workplace torts. In addition, she has extensive experience defending individuals in California wage and hour class action disputes in state and federal court.
The LACBA CFJ aims to provide equal access to legal services for those in underserved communities through pro-bono projects and services. In particular, the organization focuses on three main legal services, offering direct legal assistance to immigrants, survivors of domestic violence and U.S. military veterans.
