Junaid Zubairi Continues Vedder Price Tradition Serving as Planning Co-Chair for the Accountants' Liability Conference
Junaid Zubairi, Shareholder and Chair of the Government Investigations and White Collar Defense Group, will continue the 30+-year Vedder Price tradition serving as planning co-chair for the upcoming 2022 ALI Accountants’ Liability Conference taking place in Washington, DC on June 9 and 10, 2022.
This year’s conference features Keynote Speakers Gurbir Grewal, Director, Division of Enforcement at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, Paul Munter, Acting SEC Chief Accountant, and Paul J. Fishman, Arnold & Porter partner and former United States Attorney for the District of New Jersey, who will engage in a “fireside chat” at the onset of the conference. The conference focuses on a number of key areas for attendees, including new accounting standards, SEC enforcement priorities for accounting firms and accounting professionals, and emerging areas, including cyber-security, cryptocurrency, SPACs, cannabis, and NFTs.
