Joseph T. Bueche is a Shareholder in the Chicago office of Vedder Price and a member of the firm’s Finance & Transactions practice group.

Mr. Bueche practices in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, private equity, venture capital, corporate, securities and business law.  He advises on a variety of transactional and general corporate matters, including advising private equity firms and private companies (in each case representing both buyers and sellers in domestic and cross-border transactions), auctions, divestitures, 363 transactions, restructurings, debt and equity offerings, joint ventures and minority investments.

Mr. Bueche was selected for inclusion in the 2025 Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in America® for Mergers and Acquisitions Law. In 2022, Mr. Bueche was honored by The M&A Advisor with the 13th Annual Emerging Leaders Award. 

After receiving his undergraduate degree, Mr. Bueche was a Business Analyst for Marshall Fields.  Prior to joining Vedder Price, Mr. Bueche was an associate at an Am Law 100 firm in New York.
