Vedder Price is pleased to announce the addition of noted real estate attorney Jonathan Kurry as a Shareholder in its Miami office where he will help the firm seize a growing demand for its business-focused legal counsel in the thriving South Florida region.

In this role, Kurry will be joined by Associate Beth Rosenblatt and will work from the firm’s office in the Brickell Avenue financial district to leverage his extensive experience and network to help further develop the firm’s national Real Estate practice and capability to serve South Florida clients.

“Jonathan has the experience, business-minded focus and local-market insight that clients need to achieve their goals in the highly competitive and unique South Florida region,” said Jennifer Durham King, Shareholder and Chair of the Corporate Practice Area at Vedder Price. “Just as important, Jonathan’s collaborative approach and client-first service will bring significant value to our firm and our clients as we continue to build out our presence in the rapidly growing Miami market.”

A former partner at Reed Smith and General Counsel of Turnberry Associates, Kurry has dedicated his career to guiding investors, developers, and lenders through complex real estate transactions, including commercial real estate finance, acquisition, development, and management. His focus includes joint ventures, portfolio transactions, non-performing loan restructurings, public-private partnerships, and community development districts. Notably, Kurry has cultivated a robust presence in international markets, focusing on Latin America and the Caribbean.

Beyond his real estate practice, Kurry provides his clients with strategic advice and outside general counsel services on a range of matters including corporate transactions, asset protection, tax planning, employment, non-competition agreements, confidentiality, and charitable giving.

Kurry received his law degree from the George Washington University Law School and his bachelor’s degree from Tulane University.
