Jonathan Kurry, a Vedder Price Shareholder of the Real Estate practice group, recently provided his insight for an article in the Daily Business Review. Jonathan, who is a member of the firm’s Miami office, was quoted in the article “Florida’s Legislature Tweaks Affordable Housing Law After Pushback, Helping Developers Feel More Secure”.

The article highlights changes being presented to Florida’s legislation regarding the Live Local Act, and how updates to the language of the bill will help developers in local municipalities gain back more control of their respective zoning laws. Kurry offers his perspective on the topic, as well as the impact on locals living within communities developed in accordance with the Live Local Act.
