Vedder Price Shareholder and Global Transportation team member Ji Woon Kim will participate in the Marine Money Week Asia conference on September 27-28 in Singapore. The two-day conference brings together borrowers, lenders and investors from around the world to renew, rebuild and initiate relationships with Asia’s thriving shipping and shipping finance communities.

Mr. Kim will moderate the panel “Should banks just focus on credit risk and let the industry handle the energy transition?” and will lead the conversation about whether there is an argument for letting the industry determine the best way forward for energy transition and decarbonization while banks do what they do best and focus on credit risk from clients, collateral and cash flow.
