Singapore Global Transportation Finance Shareholder Ji Woon Kim will participate in the 17th Annual Marine Money Week Asia Conference “Better Fundamentals: Bigger Challenges” on September 18–19 in Singapore. The two-day seminar brings together more than 500 borrowers, lenders and investors from around the world to network, exchange ideas and learn about the current worldwide ship finance trends.
Mr. Kim will moderate the panel, “Traditional Shipping Banks Change Direction,” in which panelists will discuss how shipping exposure of European Banks has been decreasing steadily since 2008, as they deal with non-performing loans and de-risk the lending book, and traditional shipping banks have now reoriented their business to cater to their key clients and all their shipping and banking requirements.
