Jennifer Durham King, a Shareholder in Vedder Price's Chicago office and Co-Chair of the firm's Securities & Capital Markets group, will speak at the Practising Law Institute's seminar "Securities Filings 2015: Practical Guidance in a Changing Environment" on November 12–13 in Chicago. The two-day program will provide an overview of various topics and guidance under the Securities Act of 1933 and the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, focusing primarily on the requirements, mechanics and timing for assembling and submitting particular filings with the SEC.

Ms. King's session "Deconstructing the Registration Statement: The Regulatory Process," will be a three-hour panel presentation and discussion given by her and three other securities lawyers, including representatives of the SEC, and will focus primarily on the initial public offering (IPO) process and what companies need to do to prepare to go public.
