Vedder Thinking | Events Is There an App for That? Managing Legal Risks in a Social Media World
December 05, 2012
9:00 AM - 9:45 AM Central Standard Time
This webinar, the third in the Internet Litigation group's three part "Doing Business on the Internet" webinar series, will focus on how businesses can mitigate the risks associated with doing business through social media and mobile technology and then on how to respond to those risks once they occur. In a business environment increasingly focused on building relationships through social media and providing customers with mobile business tools, the drive to capture the benefits of social media and new technologies can lead to unanticipated consequences. Without careful planning, businesses can leave themselves exposed to risks such as defamation, hostile work environments, loss of trade secrets and tarnished brand reputations.
Login information and presentation materials will be provided prior to the webinar. Please direct all questions to Meghan Mocogni at firstname.lastname@example.org or +1 (312) 609 4162.
This is a complimentary program.
