Counsel

Heidemarie Gregoriev serves as Counsel at Vedder Price and is a member of the Investment Services group in the firm’s Chicago office.

Ms. Gregoriev focuses her practice on investment company and investment adviser matters and has broad experience in the representation of fund boards, investment companies and investment advisers, as well as regulatory and compliance matters. She counsels the independent directors of investment companies on their duties and responsibilities under the law, and reviews securities filings and policies and procedures for compliance with the requirements of the Investment Company Act of 1940, the Investment Advisers Act of 1940 and the Securities Exchange Act of 1934. Ms. Gregoriev also is experienced in providing advice in connection with Directors and Officers insurance.

Ms. Gregoriev previously served in-house in various positions with financial services firms, including as Vice President and Assistant General Counsel and Compliance Counsel, providing her with an understanding of the day-to-day business issues that regulated entities face.
