Francisco Koichi Ishino

Associate

Francisco Koichi Ishino is an Associate in Vedder Price’s Washington, DC office and a member of the firm’s Global Transportation Finance team.

He focuses his practice on corporate and finance transactions involving a wide range of transportation assets and general equipment.  Francisco’s transportation equipment experience includes leases and financings of railcars and locomotives, and all types of aviation assets, including commercial and business aircraft, helicopters, autonomous aircraft and urban and advanced air mobility aircraft.  He regularly provides support for the general equipment finance team, including with respect to related securitizations and other capital markets transaction.  Francisco has also assisted with other aviation transactional and regulatory compliance matters. Mr. Ishino currently serves on the firm's Pro Bono Committee. 

Prior to joining Vedder Price, Mr. Ishino served as a legal intern to Hon. Richard E.L. Strauss for whom he prepared weekly legal memoranda and tentative rulings discussing various motions to be presented in oral arguments. Mr. Ishino received his law degree from The George Washington University Law School and his undergraduate degree from New York University Leonard N. Stern School of Business. While in law school, he served as a member of the Business and Finance Law Review.
