Global Transportation Finance Attorney Erich Dylus will speak at the Airport Cooperative Research Program (ACRP)’s Insight Event, "Introduction to Blockchain and Airport Operations in a COVID-19 Environment" on August 5, 2020. Mr. Dylus will moderate the panel entitled “Privacy Concerns in Airport Blockchain Usecases.” He and his panelists will discuss how blockchain can help increase information sharing while recognizing passenger, airline, airport and public health information needs and rights.

This two-day virtual event will feature a variety of airport and blockchain leaders sharing their insight on topics such as provenance tracking, privacy, data sharing and blockchain’s overall applications to airport operations. Additionally, the event will address the challenges associated with today’s public health concerns, specifically COVID-19.
