Vedder Thinking | News Environmental Practice Expands with the Addition of Shareholder Brett Heinrich
Vedder Price is pleased to announce that Brett Heinrich has joined the firm’s Environmental practice as a Shareholder in the Chicago office.
Mr. Heinrich focuses his practice on a range of environmental matters, including enforcement litigation, compliance counseling, remediation, Superfund, RCRA citizen suits, Clean Air Act and Clean Water Act suits and various environmental aspects of real estate transactions. He represents clients in a wide variety of service areas, including manufacturing, waste management, waste transportation, and industries such as building materials, cosmetics, chemicals, paper, insurance and food.
“We are excited to have Brett join our Environmental practice. He has a wealth of knowledge and experience in all types of environmental matters, including air, ground and water contamination and land use issues. Brett's breadth of experience will allow the firm’s growing environmental practice to assist our banking, insurance, real estate and product manufacturing clients with the full range of environmental implications with which they are faced. His experience at the Attorney General’s office, and in both state and federal courts and agencies across the country, bolsters the firm's environmental litigation and counseling bench and will allow us to better and more quickly serve our clients' needs,” said Thomas Cimino, Chair of Vedder Price’s Litigation practice area and Board of Directors member.
Vedder Price Environmental Shareholder Joseph Strubbe, noted, “Brett has a tremendous background in environmental matters with capabilities that will add great value and range to our growing environmental practice and client base.”
Prior to joining Vedder Price, Mr. Heinrich was a Partner at Meckler Bulger Tilson Marick & Pearson LLP in Chicago.
