Edward Gross to Serve as Moderator at ABA’s 2015 Aviation Finance Conference
Edward K. Gross, a Shareholder in Vedder Price's Washington, DC office and a member of the firm's Global Transportation Finance team, will participate in the American Bar Association's 2015 Aviation Finance Conference on December 3 in New York City. The full-day seminar, hosted by the ABA's Forum on Air & Space Law and the Commercial Finance Committee's Subcommittee on Aircraft Financing will address a variety of financing issues currently affecting the aerospace industry.
Mr. Gross will serve as a moderator and panelist for the session titled, "The Intersection of the UCC with U.S. Aviation Laws and the Cape Town Treaty and Its Aircraft Protocol." Mr. Gross's presentation will highlight aviation asset and collateral issues, jurisdictional issues found within aircraft financing, and how to determine which law applies when considering the various state, national and international legal regimes.
