Edward K. Gross, a Vedder Price Shareholder and member of the firm’s Global Transportation Finance team, spoke to attendees of the National Business Aviation Association’s Business Aircraft Finance, Registration & Legal Conference in Bonita Springs, Florida. His presentation, entitled “Syndication = Liquidity,” covered various syndication structures, the customer’s perspective on syndication (including risks, costs, burdens and business realities) and issues related to documenting a financing party’s right to syndicate, and numerous other related issues, including the Cape Town Convention, FAA filings, novation and registration issues, and insurance coverage “blind assignments.”
